Project Green- Take 6

I had to finish the project as I started it- right out my front door. However, when i started these little plants were just starting to grow and now they're HUGE!

Today we had my son's first birthday party. It was supposed to be a play date in the park. But as you'll see from the pictures above, the weather had different plans for us. I hate to admit that the pics I took of the party today are not very good. It was dark and dreary inside and I didn't put on my flash. Plus, I was playing mommy and hostess and I just didn't shoot very many to begin with. Shame on me! His actual birthday is tomorrow and I will dedicate the entire day to him. (Makes me a little weepy just to think of my last baby turning 1!)

Hope your son had a memorable day. I guess the `unfriendly' weather provided some great shots for you to share with us.

Enjoyed your truck shots, too.

And thank you for the lovely comment on my `Night on the tiles' post.

Oh how exciting!!! Happy Birthday little man! No shame. Being a mommy takes priority. Glad you were able to enjoy your day, even with such weather. We were so blessed to have Lily home before her first birthday. We had a big party for her as it was the first time many of our friends got to meet her.

Great shots as always. I love all the colors in the first image.

Happy Birthday to your baby! Take tons of photos today! Been away, but back now - congrats, too on your 100th. Love that green tractor(?) wheel! Pinwheel is very fun too. Do you have a thing for wheels? haha

Those are great and I love the pinwheel! Don't be a stranger over at my place!

I love the raindrops on the middle shot!
Happy Birthday to Baby and hugs to mommy to help with the weepy tears. :)

Rain doesn't make for a fun party, but I love the photos of droplets on leaves and even on the pinwheel.

Happy Birthday to your son!
