I've been delinquent!

To all of my loyal friends and family, I'm still alive. Barely. Life is VERY busy here in Indiana and unfortunately blogging has had to go by the wayside for awhile. For the summer, before the move, I'll post as much as I possibly can but it will most likely not be every day. I miss all of your correspondence and look forward to getting back to my normal routine.
On a side note, I had the opportunity to shoot a family this weekend and I had so much fun! Gorgeous parents= gorgeous kids. Thanks guys for letting me share your day!

Ready?

Sorry I've been gone so long! I've been working on the website and even more, I hate to admit, trying to find us housing in Virginia. It is about to drive me mad so I am seeking some sanity back in blog land! I've missed your blogs and I will be around, slowly, to catch up.

We are still doing a little work on the website but you can check it out at

I would LOVE some feedback!

Happy belated Father's Day! I will post later tonight more about that. Here are some recent pics of a family day out. Caleb is WALKING! Life is so exciting right now. A little scary, but REALLY exciting. Big things are happening!

Stay tuned. . .

I thought I could do it all but I guess that I'm not Superwoman after all! (Now I'm not going to be able to wear that cool shirt that says I am. Shucks!) I'm going to take a little blog break while we finish up the website. Believe me, I will still be shooting- just not posting! When I get on here I have to go visit all of your wonderful sites and before I know it-BAM!- my night is over. I will be back visiting in a few days. I'll miss you guys! But I CAN'T WAIT to share what we've been up to!

Project Blue-Take 5

Baby blues. Everyone who knows me knows that I LOVE shooting people. I know that this is pushing it with project blue but enlarge the picture and just take a look at those eyes! This was my day. Filled with smiles and lots and lots of water. After we played in this wonderful creek we had a HUGE storm. You know, the kind with rivers running down the street and thunder that shakes the house. I love storms, so I did enjoy it this evening but I'm so glad that it held off and just let us play with our friends!

P.S. The website is getting SO close!

Project Blue-Take 4

I usually take a lot more time on these projects! Life is a little topsy turvy right now so I gave myself 2 minutes to shoot tonight. It rained ALL day. I had big plans with my little ones and instead we played inside and made bugs. The rain has stopped tonight and it is beautiful out. I just want to go walking! But instead I am trying to pack and get the website up and running. Hopefully I'll have something to show to you soon! These pictures represent life as it is right now. Bright, explosive and very fast!

Project Blue-Take 3

I'll be brief. I'm going to pack! Here are a few shots I grabbed while out today. Just a rusted barrel. I love rust on things that aren't mine! It just makes such interesting shapes and textures.

Project Blue-Take 2

This is SO MUCH FUN!! It's nice to be shooting a color again! We walked over for some ice cream today and I was thrilled to see that a city employee got a little overzealous with the blue paint for a water pipe.

And I totally lucked out when I found a Boy's and Girl's club bus parked right next to the park we were playing at. Yes, blue IS a good color and it wants to be found!
