One of my favorite parts of spring are the magnolias. Our neighbor has a gorgeous tree that my camera has been asking to shoot. They are so elegant and regal. I can just imagine tiny fairies inside of them.
The last thing that caught my attention was how many petals were on the ground! So sad. Spring is so beautiful but so short!

These were not the magnolias I was thinking of when reading your post, but they're beautiful! There are some gorgeous trees in our neighborhood, too, and I've wanted to "trespass" and try to photograph them, lol.
You last photo reminded me of one of my favorite PYs...I captured a forsythia from the ground's eye view...TONS of fallen petals looked like a carpet. Sounds like we might "see" the same things if we went on a shoot together :).
Welcome to my blog! I am a professional wedding and portrait photographer located in Norfolk, Virginia. I specialize in capturing the beauty and emotion of people--
The secret look between a couple.
The tiny toes of a newborn.
The shared giggle of a brother and sister.
The look of a father seeing his daughter for the first time as not only his little girl but as a bride.
For these reasons, I offer a portrait-journalistic approach. This means that I prefer natural light, relaxed poses and real emotions.
I may cry a little at your wedding but I'll be right there catching other people crying too!
Thanks for stopping by. I would love to capture your story!
