You can tell the weather is changing when the Chocolate Moose opens again. It was BEAUTIFUL today!!! After trips to several parks we stopped for the famous torch cone. A perfect 25cent baby cone with little candy eyeballs. Caleb got his own this year and had it gone before anyone else! He wouldn't even stop long enough for me to wipe off his mouth. When he finished he kept trying to get one of his siblings to share theirs.
What can I say, it was a slow photo day! Which translates into- it was a very busy day for me! I took the kids to the park and I was going to get some play pictures but I got too busy PLAYING. We heard the train and ran to catch sight of it. I grabbed out my camera in time and was right by the tracks. However, I was a bit startled as I started to turn on my camera by the man hanging off the side. I couldn't even get composed enough to shoot. It wasn't until the train passed me by that I was able to snap the shot. I was trying to make sure the kids were safe and the guy stared me down as he passed. It was a little bizarre but, in hindsight, quite funny!

Ice cream all around! It was so nice out today. We headed out for ice cream to celebrate the return of spring. I feel like I always miss pics of Isaac. Today he was a daredevil and playing monkey on a metal rail above asphalt. I was afraid that if I started shooting and distracted him we'd be in the emergency room. But trust me, he enjoyed the ice cream too!
We have so much fun on St. Patty's. A little leprechaun comes and turns our food green- milk, eggs, pasta, etc.. He creates little mischief here and there. It's great. I should have tried to capture some of his shenanigans but I was a little busy trying to give him a helping hand. We went over to a friend's house this afternoon to celebrate with Shamrock shakes and cupcakes and I caught this picture of her little pixie. I've been wanting to play with natural light more and try and catch "Rembrandt's triangle". Hopefully you all had a great day full of little surprises!
