Election Day in Norfolk, Virginia

We voted this morning, with kids in tow. The line at 7:00 was 2.5 hrs. Worth every minute.






These lovely women were in front of us in line--the whole time!



Though the picture didn't quite turn out, I thought this did much to symbolize this election:


This beautiful lady said she was 96 years old!

I did vote, but I missed all the lines because I voted absentee. After seeing pictures like this, and hearing stories from around here, I'm glad I did, because I wouldn't have had time to stand in those lines!
